Kids Night In | Volunteer!

Love kids? Love Christmas? Come help us make this year’s Kids Night In a night to remember! On Friday, December 12th from 4:00pm - 9:00pm, We’re looking for cheerful and enthusiastic volunteers to help us create a memorable night for children and families with games, movies, air-brush tattoos, cookie making and serving kids dinner!

What you’ll be doing:

• Helping lead and supervise fun games for kids 
• Assisting with the movie-watching area: setting up, serving snacks, making sure everyone’s comfy
• Running the air-brush tattoo station
• Guiding cookie-making: helping younger volunteers or kids decorate cookies, clean-up support
• Handing out pizza slices, beverages, coordinating the food area and making sure everyone gets something to eat
• Greeting families, helping with flow of the event and clean-up at the end

Dress code:
We encourage all volunteers to wear Christmas pajamas or festive outfits — think fun, cozy, holiday-themed! Let’s make it bright and festive for the kids.

Volunteer Guidelines:

• Please arrive on time, stay for the full shift (or as agreed) so we can keep the night smooth.
• Be welcoming, friendly, patient and supportive — kids and families vary in age, needs, and energy.
• Help support clean-up and wrap-down at the end of the evening.

Safety Note:
Because we value the safety of every child, all volunteers must have a current background check completed through Essex Alliance Church before serving. (If you don’t have one yet, we’ll help you get started!)
