Our Fall Baptism services will be on Sunday, November 23!

Here at Essex Alliance Church, we celebrate “Believer’s Baptism;” a symbolic identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, demonstrating outwardly what has occurred inwardly; it serves as a public expression of one’s faith in Jesus Christ. You can register now to meet with an Elder or other Ministry Leader.

Wondering what to expect if you were to be baptized? Click here to see how we celebrate baptisms within our church family!

Adults (18+): The process for being baptized first begins with meeting in-person with one of our Church Elders (in advance) to share your story & understanding of baptism. Our Elders will explain the significance of being baptized, ensure you have experienced God’s saving grace, & answer any questions you have. This informal meeting is typically scheduled on a Sunday morning, in-between services & is approximately half an hour long. We also have the option to schedule a meeting during the week. Once you’ve met with an Elder, you will be sent additional information preparing you for your baptism.

High School Students (9th-12th grade) & Middle School Students (6th-8th grade):
The process for being baptized first begins with meeting in-person with one of our Student Ministry Pastor, Pastor Caleb Gee (in advance) to share your story & understanding of baptism. Pastor Caleb will explain the significance of being baptized, ensure you have experienced God’s saving grace, & answer any questions you have. Once you’ve met with Pastor Caleb, you will be sent additional information preparing you for your baptism.

Children (3rd-5th grade): The process for being baptized first begins with a meeting with our Elementary Director. This meeting is a relaxed and personal conversation between your child and our Elementary Director. It's a chance for the Director to learn about your child's understanding of baptism, hear their thoughts and questions, and walk with them as they take this important step of faith. Parents/Guardians are asked to join the conversation as we talk together about what baptism means and how your family can support your child on their faith journey. After you have registered your child, our Elementary Director will reach out to schedule a time that works best for your family.
